Election - a workshop

At Carver High in Omaha, Nebraska, it's the 1992 race for rising Senior Class’ student body president. Highly ambitious student, TRACY FLICK, is fixated on claiming the title, but well-loved Social Studies teacher - JIM MCALLISTER - finds himself determined to ensure she doesn’t win the race by default.
A selection of five songs from Election were presented by Berenson and Gross at the conclusion of their BMI adaptation assignment. Writers were asked to select an existing property and to develop songs for an imagined stage adaptation.
